Our Day Care Program is designed for children ages 2 to 5 and is, just as our Preschool Program, based upon developmental research, theory and practice for children from bilingual families. All of our teaching is done in an integrated manner to simultaneously develop motor, language and cognitive skills- whether it be our morning meeting that stresses individual discipline, story telling or a group project.
Program Highlights:
- Build vocabulary in both languages.
- Develop memory, attention span and analyzing skills.
- Improve gross and fine motor skills by working with their hands on increasingly complex arts and crafts projects.
- Introduce letters of the alphabet and numbers in both languages.
- Cultivate aesthetic perceptions through the introduction of fine art, literature, and music.
- Foster social skills by interacting with other children and adults in both languages.
