DAYCARE
Our Day Care Program is designed for children ages 2 to 5 and is, just as our Preschool Program, based upon developmental research, theory and practice for children from bilingual families. All of our teachings is done in an integrated manner to simultaneously develop motor, language, and cognitive skills - whether it be our morning meeting that stresses individual discipline, story telling or a group project.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

PRESCHOOL
We have developed a comprehensive Preschool Program for children ages 2 through 5. It provides your child with continuous Russian and English bilingual support throughout their early years. Your child will learn the communication skills and cultural components that go hand in hand with learning languages in a bilingual environment. The curriculum is built around each child's age appropriate developmental and learning aptitudes to give them tools to explore their surrounding world with new perspectives and introduce them to the rich world of the Russian language and culture on a more advanced level.

- Each child receives at least one hour of formal teacher-led instruction per day in each language and bilingual support from our teachers and highly trained staff throughout their day at the Center.
CURRICULUM SYNOPSIS
- Each lesson unit will expose your child to an aspect of a multidisciplinary theme from a picture dictionary (vegetables, transportation, birds, etc). Children will complete verbal exercises, worksheets, arts and crafts and other types of activities corresponding to the thematic unit.
- All of the activities are presented in the form of a playful journey and will help children to concentrate and to get a sense of accomplishment after the unit is completed.
- Through different projects such as modeling clay, finger painting, working with paper and textures and verbalizing these activities, children will absorb knowledge while enjoying the process of its acquisition.
- The program serves as a foundation for students from age 2 up to kindergarten. This program allows young children to practice skills required of them in a more formal school environment by building their fundamental knowledge and honing their learning skills. Your child will also learn basic skills of peer-to-peer interaction and how to function well in a group setting.
